Just wanted to quickly say that at the earliest this week’s post will be up on Thursday, but most likely it will be the weekend or next week. After Storm Desmond, we’re still on emergency generators here in the North-West of the UK and we’re being advised not to use electricity unnecessarily.

Thank you! 🙂 We actually got off fairly lightly: a few days without power and a few more days of only essential electrical appliances seems small compared to the devastating floods some areas have had. Thankfully, we’re off the emergency generators and back on the main supply now so hopefully this is back to normal!

I’m glad you weren’t hit too hard! My heart goes out to those who experienced severe flooding in their areas. I hope it’s back to normal soon for everyone impacted by that storm 🙂
